How Average Eater Works
Average Eater was started because my husband, Parker and I decided that we needed reviews on restaurants and recipes from regular, non-foodie people. So often when we look at restaurant or recipe reviews they go into details about the texture, mouth feel and the 12 components of food satisfaction (Charles Boyle's food critiques... IYKYK). But we just really want to know if the food is good or bad.
So here at Average Eater the review will ultimately be Thumbs Up or Thumbs Down.
I'll always include my reasonings for why a restaurant gets a Thumbs Up or a Thumbs Down.
Each Thumbs Down review will include What [the restaurant] Did Right because I think that there are positives to each experience-- even if the over all experience was a Thumbs Down.
Each review will also include a Mom's Review section which will talk about how the experience was with kids and important things like how easy the bathrooms were to find.
